A new Digital Photographic Archive for the city - celebrating Bristol's Parks and Green Spaces in European Green Capital Year 2015
Aim: To create a new Digital Photographic Archive for the City celebrating Parks and Green Spaces in Bristol’s European Green Capital Year 2015. Open to submission from residents across the city & selected by a group made up of (and representative of) a wide range of stakeholder groups with an interest in Parks, Photography and the City. All Parks and Green Spaces in the city will be represented in this fantastic new collection.
The Digital Photographic Archive will be housed in Bristol Museum’s permanent collection from the end of BGC2015.
This strand of work will also include a young people’s open submission competition and exhibition at UWE’s School of Art and Design in November 2015, plus touring exhibition through schools, libraries and community venues across the city during 2016/17.
